So this is the other thing I made this weekend for myself!!!! I'd been wanting to make one and I'd even made a couple in different fonts about a month ago. But I didn't love them. I found this font and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED IT! I think it's feminine with out being overly girly.

I hope you love it too! Even though it says I have S and N, I can make them in whatever letter if you purchase the listing. And my Facebook Fans are enjoying a sweet deal on these through the end of July! *hint hint*

TaDa!

I bet you guys thought I forgot about you and trying this whole writing almost daily bit. Simply not true. I have just had a cuh-razy busy day. I'm thinking Tuesday is going to be all about the TaDa! So what does that mean? It means I'm going to show you what I've got going on that's new in the house of Beads. Like this:



I made some for myself and if I make something for myself, that may mean I'll make some for you too. Well unless it's made of carnelian. I usually hoard that stuff like it's going out of style (like it would ever do that. ha!). I can honestly say I've only sold one piece with carnelian in it. Maybe I'll stop being selfish.

Your Personal Garden Cocktail Ring

Well now I've gone and done it. I've *secretly* been working towards at least one new item per week. But then I go and blab it on the blog and you people might actually try and hold me to it. pfft. That's good old accountability at work.

So here we have this week's piece! Available in three finishes: black, bright or a mix of both! I love it and I hope you will too! This is kind of similar to my In Bloom ring I made a while back. Wintry Moon Tree

Oh man. Sorry. This bad boy has been in the shop for at least a few days. Say hello to the Wintry Moon Tree! Of course even though I don't update my blog, my Etsy mini to the right always gets updated with my newest items. So you may have seen it already and this is old news to you. If that's you, sorry!

I am under the weather as is the little one so I've not been doing as much as I'd like. In other news, I have a piece in a store other than my own (woot!) and I'm so excited! As soon as I can I will give particulars on that.

What else? I just received my 100th feedback today and it was soooo sweet! It was a custom order piece. Like to see it? Here it is! She gave me a lot of room to work (basically it had to be certain dimensions but I could choose the colors so long as they would work with fair skin). I must say I have really enjoyed the custom work I've done so far!

Big Blue!

So it just occurred to me that I did not post my Big Blue bird here. I'm so excited about this guy!!!

More Flowers in the shop!

So some people have been asking when was I going to add more flower vases with different colors into the shop. Well, I was having trouble locating colors I *really* like (like that yellow. Love it!) so I searched and searched and searched some more until I was pleased! I am sure I'll be getting in some more colors soon as well. Day 16 - My first soldered ring!

So here is my first soldered ring! I am so excited. I fused the silver to make the band as well as two out of the three swirl connections in the front! woot! This is my Design A Day - Day 16 piece.

I'm a closet fashionista

OK. For those of you who know me, you know I like to do my own thing and that I like fashion. Well there is a site that combines these passions. It's called Polyvore and I've been secretly feeding my fashion addiction for the past couple of months, here and there.

This site has reminded me that even though I am a stay at home mama, there is no need to be a schlumpadink (if you don't know, you didn't watch Oprah this week). I like to go on there and create outfits using my jewelry. This is my latest:

Ah! Minty Fresh - Day 14

So here is my latest tree. Isn't it minty fresh? This lovely one reminds me of Spring. We're waiting Spring! Sterling silver trunk, branches and frame hold amazonite leaves.

This tree stands 1 in tall x 1.5 in wide (2.5 cm x 3.8 cm) and hangs from a lightweight 18" sterling silver chain. It is available for purchase here in my lil' Etsy shop.

Hippity Hoppity...Easter's on its way!

So I love these golden pearls! I found that the only way to truly show off their luminosity was to oxidize the sterling silver until it was completely black. It can be purchased here

The Oval Planet - Day 11

I call this The Oval Planet Necklace. This would be my Design A Day - Day 11 piece.
Good gravy I love this bead. It has all these wonderful colors in it. I used my handy dandy new torch to create my own balled head pin to which I've wire wrapped this lovely red sardonyx wonder. It is available for purchase in my Etsy shop, Beads In The Belfry

...never boils. So sorry I've gone so long without an update! I hope that I find you all well. In my shop I am one tiny sale away from 50. Woohoo! I was hoping that after being featured twice in a week, that publicity might send me over the edge. No such luck. In fact, this is the longest period of time I've had between sales. I know you're saying, Nina, boo hoo. Get over it. ;P Anyhow so I'm just sitting on 49 twiddling my thumbs. I know the watched pot never boils. So I just have to forget about it and be very busy living life and creating and then it'll happen. So hard to not check every two seconds though. lol.

Above are the newest items in the shop! What else? I'm working on a few designs in my head hoping to get them in production by February. That is my absolute favorite part of the creative process - the problem solving aspect. How do I translate what is in my head to the materials. It can be fun, exciting, frustrating but pretty much always is oh so rewarding.

Hearts All A Flutter - Love Birds Necklace

Here is my first offering that fits in to the Valentine's Day mold, if you will. I love how this piece turned out. These two birdies are getting set to smooch and are framed in the cutest heart! I'll be putting it up in my Etsy shop tomorrow. I'm too tuckered out to do it now. And really, I'm only posting this tonight because I believe I promised to have it up here today and I want to keep my stalker (Andrea! :D) happy. And seeing as I'm just sneaking up on 12 AM EST, consider my promise kept. G'nite!
