So yesterday I was frantically finishing this book, The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. It was a 7 day express library book and you guessed it, on the the seventh day, I was only halfway done. I am happy to say that I made it through and incurred no fines. Whew! It was totally a depressing story but well written. This week and last week my shop has been buzzing! Woot! So I've got deadlines deadlines deadlines to get these orders out! I know I promised to be more disciplined in my blogging. That has yet to occur. My bad. Have a good weekend all!

I love that picture of you with your library book! I cringe everytime I got to check out books at the library, because sure enough, I owe money for late books! oh well!
I've thought about reading it, but it's not gotten very good reviews. "The Lovely Bones", however, is a book I simply could not put down. I literally read it in one sitting when it first came out.

Hey Deborah! It is very depressing but I did enjoy the dynamics of the family.
jen - I try not to have late fees but I think somewhere in Brooklyn a librarian is looking for me because of a Judy Blume book I took out years ago. ;D
All Alice Sebold is depressing but beautifully written :) I really liked Lovely Bones and really hated it at the same time. Wierd.
Ever read the Secret life of Bees? Sue Monk Kidd? Really great book
