love. milestones. peppers. growth.

A lot has been going on over here recently. Saturday was my anniversary. 7 years married to the hubs. I can hardly believe it. Marriage is hard work ya'll. We dropped young Master Beads off at his cousins' house for the night and went out for dinner and a movie. I told you it was hard work. All that eating and relaxing wore me out! ;D

In other news, I was totally minding my business and deliberately did not turn on the computer until 2:30 PM because I didn't want the seemingly senseless web surfing I sometimes engage in, to keep me from my goal of shipping all current orders out of the shop. Well imagine my surprise when I log on to Etsy to print out some receipts and found out that:
I hit 500 sales! Woohoo!

And to continue with the out of the ordinary food thing, take a look at what I found when I was cutting up a red pepper to use in our dinner the other day...

Yes. A pepper growing in a pepper. Cool right? And a little creepy.

And I've been working on trying to learn how to stamp letters on metal correctly. I've really avoided the whole personalization thing (you know-cute stamped disc necklace with your kid's name on it) for quite some time but I think I'm going to dive in. But of course it will be the Beads in the Belfry way and not just any old way. Stay tuned for what that means (as I continue to figure it out myself. hee hee). I told one friend one of my ideas and she literally swooned over the phone. I think that is a good response, no?

I can't wait to see what you do with letter stamping! I'm tired of seeing the same old thing!

Here, here!

I'll be waiting to check it out, and I totally understand (about the stamping bit).

Yes, I've bought some of those pepper-in-a-pepper peppers, I tried eating the inner one and ... drumroll please ... it basically had no flavor. lol.

You're my hero, girl. So many fantastic designs, I'm always waiting to see what you'll come up with next.

xoxo
