OK. So have you heard that quote about how when you let your light shine, it allows other people's lights to shine? No? You should look it up then. lol. Basically it is putting forth the idea that when you do what you are meant to do, you inspire others to do what they are meant to do by your boldness and by your not playing small.
One of my inspirations for putting myself out there with my jewelry has been my older cousin. She is a fantastically talented lady and all around creative being. She inspired me to do my thing after I found out she was writing a book. This has been in the works for some time now and I am happy to say, that her novel, "Rabbit's Lucky Number," is now published and for sale!!!!
I am so proud of you!!! Thank you for shining your light! I can't wait for my copy to arrive in the mail. :D

Do You Know What Today Is?
* it's our anniversary. Anniversary.*
That was me singing Tony! Toni! Toné!. If you don't know who they are, you should. Raphael Saadiq is a musical genius. Google them or Wiki them or whatever you kids do these days.
Anyway, back to the story at hand. It's my anniversary! We've been married for six years today. Wow. Go us. We rock. :D
I have to say that the time has fairly flown by. It really seems like not too long ago we were dating. That is a good thing, right? Veteran married folks feel free to chime in.
Don't know the plans for the day. I think it will be low key. That's fine with me. I have been working my butt off recently and just want to take it easy. :D
I just realized it's also Friday the 13th. Duh duh duh!!!! I'm not worried.

Deadlines Deadlines Deadlines
So yesterday I was frantically finishing this book, The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. It was a 7 day express library book and you guessed it, on the the seventh day, I was only halfway done. I am happy to say that I made it through and incurred no fines. Whew! It was totally a depressing story but well written. This week and last week my shop has been buzzing! Woot! So I've got deadlines deadlines deadlines to get these orders out! I know I promised to be more disciplined in my blogging. That has yet to occur. My bad. Have a good weekend all!

Treasury Goodness!
So I had so much fun making that dandelion treasury that I went on to make some more. Two of them have made it to the front page. AAAUGGGH!!! Here they are. One I actually saw on the front page and was screaming into the phone while talking to my friend Dolly Lee. She can vouch for it.
"click your heels" aka screamed in phone:
"mod squad" - just missed it
"chicks" - aren't they darling?
