Your Personal Garden Cocktail Ring

Well now I've gone and done it. I've *secretly* been working towards at least one new item per week. But then I go and blab it on the blog and you people might actually try and hold me to it. pfft. That's good old accountability at work.

So here we have this week's piece! Available in three finishes: black, bright or a mix of both!
I love it and I hope you will too! This is kind of similar to my In Bloom ring I made a while back. This one is not wire wrapped though. It is soldered (I've added to my technique bag of tricks). Pick up your own personal Garden Cocktail ring here!

More Flowers in the shop!

So some people have been asking when was I going to add more flower vases with different colors into the shop. Well, I was having trouble locating colors I *really* like (like that yellow. Love it!) so I searched and searched and searched some more until I was pleased! I am sure I'll be getting in some more colors soon as well. Click on the color name to be taken to this item in my shop.
Yellow

Ruby red

Opally turquoise blue (that's a technical term of course)

Design A Day - Day 9

So as I said earlier, today fared far better than yesterday in terms of creativity. I call this piece Flower Vase in the Window. Um...I love it! It's available for purchase in my Etsy shop, Beads In The Belfry. Wow. That bad boy sold in one day. Woot! I've relisted it here

I've created a wire window and the vase and flowers sit on the sill!

Vibrant. Fresh. Simple.

The Watched Pot...

Caged Bird in brown and green

Mossy Tree

Bursting Blooms in blue

Bursting Blooms in wine

...never boils. So sorry I've gone so long without an update! I hope that I find you all well. In my shop I am one tiny sale away from 50. Woohoo! I was hoping that after being featured twice in a week, that publicity might send me over the edge. No such luck. In fact, this is the longest period of time I've had between sales. I know you're saying, Nina, boo hoo. Get over it. ;P Anyhow so I'm just sitting on 49 twiddling my thumbs. I know the watched pot never boils. So I just have to forget about it and be very busy living life and creating and then it'll happen. So hard to not check every two seconds though. lol.

Above are the newest items in the shop!
What else? I'm working on a few designs in my head hoping to get them in production by February. That is my absolute favorite part of the creative process - the problem solving aspect. How do I translate what is in my head to the materials. It can be fun, exciting, frustrating but pretty much always is oh so rewarding.

Alright good people. Off to be creative!

New Items in the Shop

Here are the latest items in the shop! First up is the Marshmallow Tree. Don't you just want to eat it? You can probably tell I was hungry when I was deciding what to call that one. ;)

Next we have the Bursting Blooms in lilac! I think these baskets would be really great as bridal jewelry as well as every day cuteness. ;D

Santa's on his way...

And he's carrying baskets! ;) What, isn't that how the song goes?

I just realized that I never posted up individual pictures of the other two basket designs from the original three. These are the Apple Picking Basket Necklace and the All My Eggs Basket Necklace. I didn't get around to posting them before they sold! Don't worry. They are back in the shop. I've made more. :)

The holiday season has been good to me. :)
I've also put up some different color flower baskets in the shop. Go check 'em out!

Without further ado...The Still Life Series!

So I finally am pleased enough with my new works to post them. Welcome to the Still Life Series! Otherwise known as the basket necklaces. :) I created these gorgeous little baskets (I LOVE them. I'm sorry. If I can't boast on my blog, where can I?) using sterling silver wire wrapping and antiquing.

I envision so many possibilities for these!!! I've only listed one so far. That would be the Flowering Bloom Basket Necklace in the second picture. It's also available in a bright finish.

Thanks for your patience! Hope you like them as much as I do!

Dang! This is some kind of record. I just listed it like two hours ago and it already sold! Woot!
Don't worry. I put another one up in the shop. This is design is one of my signature pieces.

OK. So I love the new ring I made for myself.

So much so, that I'm going to sell it too. ;)

A Karen Hill Tribe Sterling Silver flower and one green aventurine "leaf" are wire wrapped onto a hand formed (by me!), heavy gauge sterling silver ring shank. The ring base has its own sterling silver leaf incorporated into the design.
